Founded on the beaches of the Fort Myers, Florida, back in day, Sea N Red Charters has always been full of happy anglers since! With years upon years of experience, Captain Erik Johnson has helped by now tens of thousands of tourists catch their ‘Dream Fish’.

Sea N Red Charters offers Back Bay and near shore fishing in Southwest Florida. Sea N Red charters will chase anything that swims and in my power try to catch. You name it I’ll do it – if the time and conditions are right. From inshore Snook, Redfish, Trout, Tarpon and Sharks, to Nearshore wreck and ledge fishing for Snapper, Grouper, Goliath’s and more.

My name is Erik Johnson, owner and operator of Sea N Red Charters. I came from Erie, Pennsylvania in 1994 and have fished my whole life from freshwater to saltwater ditches to Oceans. I welcome kids and families and will teach you everything in my power to make catching possible. It’s always a learning experience.

My boat is a beautiful 22ft bay boat equipped with Power Pole anchor and spot-lock trolling motor. We get to the fish quick and dry. All safety equipment on board has been USCG certified and safety is as much as of a priority as you catching fish.

Sea N Red Charters fishes the waters of Fort Myers, Florida and everything from Caloosahatchee River to the Gulf of Mexico. There’s tons of canals in the area filled with fish. I am happy to take you where I think the fish are gonna be. And feel free to ask questions about what we’re fishing and where. I love fishing and want you to love it too.a

I offer a four-hour trip, six-hour trip, and full day/eight-hour trip for up to four passengers. I take care of your fishing licenses and will have gear, rods, and bait/lures too. Your group will want to bring any snacks or drinks for the day (I provide water). Please apply spray sunscreen at the dock as it leaves a slippery stained film on the boat, but regular lotion is okay.

After going after his dream, he learned the fundamentals of dealing with people, and the repeat business shows that.

Now, he is on his second boat.  He just bought a new 2020 truck with a very high credit score.  Successful!  Yes.

In starting his own business, he has indured many hardships along the way.  Unforseen accidents, red tide, algae, corona virus, hurricanes and more.

As we have seen many businesses close in the past years, Erik has survived.
